How do I know I’m really getting my pet back?

Heart's Companion uses a custom system of scannable tags that go through several checkpoints while your pet is in our care. This allows us to ensure with 100% confidence that your pet is always returned safely to your home. We also offer the opportunity to privately view your pet’s cremation - please call to schedule in advance.

How do I know it’s time to euthanize my pet?

The hardest part of euthanasia is knowing when it is time. You will know when they lose the spark in their eye and are existing, but are no longer living their outgoing, energetic, playful lives. Also, if your pet is in pain or suffering from a diagnosed terminal illness it may be time to consider home-hospice care or at-home euthanasia. We suggest you always consult a veterinarian when trying to determine the right course of action for your pet.
